Our Gutter Cleaning Process

Scoop & Clear Debris

Leaves, pine needles, and roof grit cleared from every run of gutter

Flush Downspouts

Each downspout flushed and cleared so the system drains properly

Bag & Haul Debris

Debris bagged and hauled off, nothing left on your lawn

🕐

Timeframe: 1 – 2 hours

Scoop & Clear Debris

Leaves, pine needles, and roof grit are cleared by hand from every run of gutter, not just blown out, so packed debris actually comes loose.

Buildup like this backs up a downspout fast. Every spout gets flushed clear, not just wiped down.

Flush Downspouts

Each downspout gets flushed and cleared, since a clogged downspout backs the whole system up even after the gutters themselves are clean.

Bag & Haul Debris

All the debris pulled from the gutters is bagged and hauled off the property, so nothing gets left behind on the lawn or in the beds.

See The Difference

Clogged gutter before cleaning and the same empty gutter after cleaning on a home in the Houston area

Clogged gutters overflow at the worst time, dumping water against your foundation and rotting fascia boards. In this area, oak and pine drop enough debris to clog a gutter twice a year.

The before and after here is a standard cleaning: every leaf and pine needle scooped out and the downspout flushed clear. Water goes where it is supposed to again.

We work from the roof and ladder with proper fall protection, and we check roof valleys and behind chimneys while we are up there.

Pair gutter cleaning with a roof soft wash and we handle the whole top of the house in one trip.

Quick Answers

Do you clean inside the gutters, or the white exterior face too?

We clear debris out of the trough and flush the downspouts so water flows through the way it is supposed to. The white exterior gutter face and fascia are cleaned as part of our house washing service, not as a standalone add-on here.

How do I know my downspouts are actually flowing?

We flush every downspout with the pressure washer once the trough is clear and watch it discharge. If one is packed, it gets opened before we leave rather than left for the next storm to find.

How often do gutters need cleaning in The Woodlands?

Twice a year for most homes here, and more often under oaks or pines. The critical ones are late fall after leaf drop and again before storm season. See the hurricane season prep checklist.

Should gutters be cleaned before or after a roof wash?

Gutters first, then the roof. We clear debris and standing water out of the gutters before starting a roof soft wash, so runoff from the wash has somewhere clear to go instead of backing up a clogged system. Gutter cleaning is a separate add-on service, not bundled into the roof wash itself. Many customers add it to the same trip as house washing and window cleaning. A typical cleanout runs 1 to 3 hours.
